General meeting of Iran Hoteliers Association

The General meeting of Iran Hoteliers Association was held on Thursday morning, December 13. Meanwhile the tenth Pars Tourism Fair with the presence of the President, members of the Board of Directors and other authorities of hoteliers association of Iran was held in Beinolharmin Hotel in Shiraz.

In this meeting, the deputy tourism of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran, Mr. Vali Teimiory, talked about different issues in hospitality and each of the participants stated their issues, barriers, views and opinions on the situation of hospitality industry.

At the beginning of this meeting, the head of the Iran hoteliers association, Jamshid Hamzezadeh, pointed out the most important and current problems faced by hoteliers throughout the country: "Increased costs and, on the other hand, reduced number of tourists arrivals into the country and the hotel occupancy rate resulted in numerous problems for hotels.

The president of the Iran hoteliers association continued on pricing and issues related to the liberalization and the two rates of prices for hotels and resorts: the entry of consumer rights organizations into the issue of hotel pricing is illegal, and if this continues, A complaint against the organization will soon be presented to the Administrative Court of Justice of the country.
